Perempuan dan kurus memang sinonim

"Aku nak kuruslah"
"Eh tak payah la kau kan dah kurus"
"Eh mana ada banyak je lemak sana sini"

Ah, girls. We all have our own definition about being kurus. Some of us want to be kurus- below 50kg, some just wanna look thin, some wanna be fit, some wanna be in XS, some wanna look pretty, some just don't care as long they enjoy their life.
Me? I don't wanna be that kurus. Me just wanna be fit, confident, no insecurity and healthy. But I'm not yet there.

So, ya. I was surprised when I met my netball seniors (#usimnetballers)- Dayang and Yanie in a totally different look, they are very fit!
I still remember how persistent Dayang were, doing SNSD dances, pilates, zumba and all kind of cardio thingy- every time!
And how struggled Yanie fitted exercise time (excluding training hours) into her busy life- they were all paid off now!

Three of us were very determined to lose weight since 2014 (since I was in the netball team hahaha) but now it's only me who are not yet achieving it :( (I tried ok). The day I met them after years, during Hari Sukan Negara (I ran for fun while they're pursuing their first half marathon), I did an interview about their fitness condition and they share their activities- running, netball training, pilates, zumba, dancing and all.

Well the first question from Yanie after "Ko sihat tak Tyra?" was "Ko bukan rajin bersukan ke?" and hahhahaha I got the message- why do I still not looking fit. She was right by the way, my lower body parts are extremely stubborn! I need to silang kaki perfectly to look fine in pictures hahaha.
But thanks to them they shared a lot, and I'm slowly changing my meal & workout routine now.

Hey girls,
I know it's not easy to be fit- but we all can do it. I am not an expert. But I did it, from 75kg to 48 kg in less than 10 months (But sekarang dah chubby balik la). The keys were determination and discipline. I was almost give back to years ago but thinking of what I had started, all the pain, I did not stop. Now I'm back! Hahah I hope I tak terbabas this time! I signed up a Facebook page- Fit Together (@fitwithtyra) and I share everything I do related to fitness thingy. That's how I can help!

I wish you all the best girls! To Dayang and Yanie, thank you for being so inspiring, all the best for the next goals ;) And Kak Rai, bila nak jumpa ni?

BE BRAVE, IT'S NOTHING.

"If you want to do something, go for it. Your hesitation should not stop you. It should be something that encourage to be better than you're in the past"

It's been about three years of me being in business, and faced a lot of failure, back stab issue, trust and some more, but I believe all the hardness and pain will be paid someday. The only reason why I stay still with DailyMonche. I believe with our quality, and the vision we're trying to seed into the community, and I have a lot of bigger things more just than selling cookies. But to be on top, is never an easy journey. You gonna come across obstacles in many aspects. It might be monetary issue, lack of support from your family and friends, time management, or self esteem issue. Experience is never a problem, you gonna learn a lot from the beginning.

At first, I thought that it is so easy to sell cookies, but it was not. That was my first mistake, that we're selling cookies. The moment we were stuck and being 'idealess', I started to think that it was not because our products were not good enough, it was something else. We are homemade brand, we sacrifice the margin for good quality of the ingredients, and we do things by our own. Maybe it was my fault for keep waiting people to realize us (DailyMonche). Slowly, I associated myself with DailyMonche. I don't mind if people call me 'Akak Cookies', 'Tyra Biskut' and else, because I know it's a way of marketing the products. I started to bring DailyMonche everywhere I go, hiking, running, hanging out with friends.

Until one day, I read that one of the best ways to sell products and spread awareness is through collaboration. I pushed myself to go and meet a cafe owner, bringing three jars of cookies and asked her for a collaboration. She said "Consignment is something that people always look for here, and I'm not into it". I said "I'm not looking for a chance to put my products here and wait for people to buy, because the brand is not the Famous Amos, I would like to do a collaboration, if you do not mind."

We brought up our proposal, and she approved it right at the moment. So do the next cafe owner. I never expected that. The next cafe owner approved without tasting the cookies! That was a good feeling, what a relief!
